This was Wes Craven's first movie, and it shows. Although this could have taken away from the movie, it actually adds to it. This isn't your average horror film. It is very disturbing and disgusting. It almosts seems like a snuff film. Definitely not for the faint of heart. Although some of the movie doesn't work, the chilling death scenes more than make up for it. If you like Wes Craven's other movies, or you just like gruesome movies, check this out. |
