This has several AMAZING performaces - the best use of Jerry Lewis ever - DeNiro, Sandra Bernhard... all in top form. The movie made me laugh harder and more disturbingly than anything I can remember. I only wish Mr. Scorcese pursued comedy more, because his bent view of what's funny is sorely needed. |
