Few movies have had what it takes to not only shape pop America, but also to become a classic with the underground. The Karate Kid transcends all genres and caught the heart of a nation. Corny as it may be, Daniel Larusso has become the favorite underdog. Bobby Brown and the Cobra Kai, the favorite villains. Part two was okay. Part three sucked. And what the heck they gotta go and make a girl Karate Kid for I'll never know. But this I know, the Karate Kid shall be forever instilled into the psyche of the United States. |
