They don't make em like this anymore; the classic underdog beats the bad guy story. But this movie just pulls it off better, with the witty Mr. Miyagi and the oh so smokin Elisabeth Shue. (here in her high school cheerleading days) This is one of those movies in my collection where you can pop it in every so often, and still be glued to the set. Not to mention a killer soundtrack, with Banarama's "Cruel Summer" and Survivor's "Moment of Truth." |
