I enjoyed the first one the most, because to be quite honest, I never really watched all of part II and part III. The film introduces you to Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio), a young teen who moves from New Jersey to California because his mother got a job there. He gets invited to a party and at first is enjoying his new home. When a group of guys show up called the Cobra Kai lead by Johnny (William Zabka), trouble ensues for Daniel after Johnny cleans his clock. This incident occurs when Johnny witnesses his ex-girlfriend Ali (Elizabeth Shue), starting a new friendship with Daniel. Desperate to learn martial arts/karate, Daniel asks the apartment's handyman Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita) for help to settle the score with his tormentors. The finale is the best part of the film, when Daniel takes part in an All Valley Championship Tournament to get even with the Cobra Kai. This is a movie not to miss.
