Okay movie by TV standards, good prison insight

This film was sort of so-so. For 1989, I can see it being worth watching, however, by today's standards it really falls into being standard TV-type fare.
Commendable, however, is Selleck's tackling of such a controversial role. And, despite complaints by some that the depictions of prison life are racist (i.e. gangs of ruthless blacks trying to rape all the new white inmates), my information on such matters tells me this is highly accurate and realistic. Hey, the truth sometimes hurts, Brotha, but the truth is the truth.
Watch this film and never, never, never do anything to get yourself headed to prison. |
