The first of four novels by acclaimed writer Tom Clancy is portrayed quite impeccable. Alec Baldwin plays Jack Ryan, future roles went to Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck respectively. Sean Connery plays a role that was destined for his vast experience in modern cinema. With magnificent supporting roles by Sam Neill and Scott Glenn, helps boost John McTiernan topsy-turvy career as director. Academy Award for Best Sound Effects, personifies why The Hunt For Red Ocotber is one of the best submarine movies to date. |
