I love this movie/comedy, but that doesn't necessarily make this a good film. Some of the puns and setups are classic, but the limited budget and Mel's acting are in dire need of some refinement. Yes, part of the charm is the 'spoof' feel of Brook's works, but at the same time you can't help but feel 1980s while watching them. |
