Not as great as his Blazing Saddles or Young Frankenstein, but their are some fun moments in Mel Brook's History Of The World Part 1 including the Stone Age and The French Revolution. The movie's gags is a series of hit or miss opportunities. A well rounded cast that includes Harvey Korman, Madeline Kahn and Gregory Hines amongst others keeps the film going and also it's a harmless way to spend 90 minutes at silly gags. |
