Hannah and Her Sisters is one of Woody Allen's most acclaimed movies, winner of the oscars for Best Original Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor (Miceal Caine), Best Supporting Actress( Dianne Wiest). In my opinion, it deserved Best Picture as well. The script is one of Allen's best, and the cast is first rate. Caine, Wiest, Woody Allen, and Mia Farrow are probably the best of the cast. Hannah is a must see for any Allen fan, particurly if you like his movies with a more serious tone. |
