Charlie Chaplin wrote, produced, directed, and starred in his first "talkie" movie, "The Great Dictator" Chaplin played dual characters. One was a Jewish barber, the other a dictator of the Hynkel Party. It became one of the greatest anti-war movies of the 1940's and became voted in the top 10 list by the New York Times. "The Great Dictator" was Charlie Chaplin's best movie ever. |
