First I must say that I am not a bush supporter, I saw this film in Berkeley, CA and the booing and hissing from the locals made this movie that much better.
The purpose of a documentary is to tell a story with facts, to tell a non-fiction story with as little bias as possible. This film does not speak negative of anyone but the examples and the facts do a fine job.
I feel that the head singer did over shadow the other two group members but not in a way that lowered the quality of the story.
This is the real story, little twist of facts but plenty of facts to support the Chick's viewpoint. I have to say that regardless of how you feel about them, the song that describes this story, NOT READY TO MAKE NICE, has been nominated for multiple grammys, the people have spoken, the story of the underdog, GO DIXIE CHICKS |
