This is one of the greatest movies to come out of the 80's. The most memerable characters, Sloth and Chunk, set the mood for the movie. The story of friends risking each others lives to maintain their friendship, defines what a best friend truly is. There have been many movies made about loss of friendship, gain of it, and how friendship turns against you. This is the only movie that combines action, adventure, and compasion all in one. Sloth is the best character. He will give you the impression that he is this mean oger like character, but right after the first scream, you will see the first laugh. He ends up being just as warm hearted as the movie is all together. Without him, the movie wouldn't have been as much of a classic as it turned out to be. Regardless of how old you are, you will always love this movie, and have the memories that came with it. The rumor of a sequal should be interesting, just waiting to see how that will come out. |
