I am 22 and had never had the desire to watch the Godfather. But recently, I have, so I rented it. I was blown away. It was magnificent. I was in awe of the amazing job Coppola did on this movie. Al Pacino reinforced my feelings of his wonderful acting skills. I have recommended this movie to everyone I have spoken to since. I also rented part 2 and I feel like it's just as good as the first one. The only difference is that the first one set the stage and allowed there to be a second one. Without the first there could be no second. In that respect the first one is the best. I have not seen part 3, but I plan on it. If you have never seen at least one and two, rent them. Most libraries have them to check out for free. You won't be sorry. They are gory at times, so be prepared. But if you sat down to watch a mafia movie and didn't expect gore, there's something wrong. |
