Iit may be one of the best musicals of all time, but as far as movies go...this one is just "bleh." If you like musicals, you may like it. The characters tend to lack depth and for a movie about harlots, it's very tame. Some of the characters get so anoying you just want to backslap them. Besides...the old guy singing at the beginning is very creepy...seems like a song a pedophile might sing if he were in a musical... |
