I grew up with my mom using rented movies as my babysitter... "I'm leaving now honey, heres a movie to watch while I'm gone." Over the years, from the time that I had no choice but to pick out a rented movie for the night, until now when a Blockbuster night is a treat, Gigi has always been one of my all time favorites. There aren't a lot of musicals that don't get too cheesy, overplayed, or downright difficult to get your boyfriend to endure. But this one takes the cake... I've managed to get several guys to watch it and not fall asleep or complain bitterly afterward because it is funny, funny, funny to watch! |
