Traditional older musical

I had never heard of this before, but it seemed like a very traditional musical. It was cute, simple and catchy. The story had charisma as the young Gigi bounced around the liviing room and along the beach. Nothing more than a simple girl having fun. Gaston being so simple minded wanted a lady that would keep him entertained and not "a bore". The tale of him discovering the perfect lady was the little girl he had been with was very romantic, and although Gigi became refined, she was able to know the upperclass life as well as behave as the fun girl she was. Worth the watch and although a little slow by todays standards, a nice lazy day movie. |
