Twenty years ago this summer a film called Ghostbusters was released and it was the greatest movie ever made. Twenty years later it is still the greatest movie ever made. Written by Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis the story tells of 3 out of workd college proffesers( played by Bill Murray Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis) who start their own ghost catching business later they are joined by a a 4th memeber (Ernie Hudson). The four busters eventually face an evil demi-god above a sky scraper and battle a 40ft marshmellow man. I could go on about how funny the movie is, how original the concept is, or how great the actiing is but from my score you can probally tell all that. This movie has something to offer everyone; comedy, a few scares, a love story, great special effects, and a great soundtrack. Also do not dismiss the sequal it is not as good as the first one but if you enjoy ghostbusters 1 then ghostbusters 2 will sur eplease. Ghostbusters is a fantasitc movie beyond words and twenty years from now is will still be a fantastic movie beyond words. Be ready to believe me! |
