This film is very distrurbin at times and may be gross to some people, but the visual effects and makeup effects are just outstanding. The plot is bit silly and non convincing, but have in mind that it's a sci-fi film. However I think it could have been used better, and there are a few unuseful scenes. But Jeff Goldblum gives a terrific performance, the best of the film, and supporting actors Davis and Getz have fair performances as well. Has one of the most tragic and disgusting (in a good way) endings I've seen. Watch it if you like intense horror movies, but it's not for all tastes. |
