Well, for those who've seen the movie you probably think wow, that's wierd but pretty cool story line. Damn right, that's why the book was better. The movie leaves out and substitutes all the good, correction great parts! The mother doesn't die, the brother rapes the sister, they fall in love (secertly), the grandmother starves the childern for almost two weeks, she also puts tar in Cathy's hair, she doesn't cut it! There's soo much more! Please someone who's seen the movie and actually likes it, please good read the book, you'll be dazalled! Promise! There's four other books in the series! The last two (Seed of Yesterday and If there be Thorns) could've been condensed to one, but the others are great! There's also a presequel! But don't read that until you've read the other four! ok, well, yea, just read the book! |
