Compare to "In Love and War"

I saw this DVD in Wal-Mart for only $1.00 and it looked like an original version of "In Love & War" so I purchased it. I just finished watching it and it's a different but similar story. Basically, it's important to understand that this old movie "A Farewell to Arms" is just a novel written by Hemingway, but Hemingway's true story experience is the movie "In Love and War".
I felt the Visual Effects were very good for the time period this film was made... 1932 and based on Hemingway's novel of 1929. All other categories I rated as Fair. Acting sure has come a long way since this time period.
This movie is more of a chic-flick as it lacks the action/war scenes desired by men.
Enjoy this Old Fashioned Love Story. |
