I've just seen this movie yesterday and I must say I was pretty amazed because I didn't expect a lot from a movie with such a conformist story. But it's been a while since I haven't felt that good after watching a motion picture. I think (actually I know)I loved the original score (jazz all the way), which really fits with Jeff Bridges' or Michelle Pfeiffer's attitudes in this movie. "The fabulous Baker Boys" also has a familiar atmosphere (like the one from "Pretty woman"), but it doesn't reach a cheap romantic point, not for a moment and, in the end,it's hard to find mistakes in a movie that has a great direction and an almost perfect cast. Last, but not least, Michelle Pfeiffer, in one of her earliest roles, proved, if necessary, that she has class, an unique style, something Nicole and Renee would have if we put them both together. So, if you want to watch a good (and fair) movie, "The fabulous Baker Boys" it would be a great choice! (Especially if you like jazz, don't miss it!) Andrei (Romania)
