Holy freaking *****e!!! This has to be the product of Down's syndrome kids in action. This film is nothing more than 2 hours and 19 minutes of incoherent, inconsistant trash. The acting in this film is downright atrocious. One would think that the director would at least see that the actors would be able to speak in a proper british dialect. The characters in the film were unforgivably one dimensional due to obviously unrehearsed and uncoached dialog. Any sort of effects seemed rather sophomoric, even by 1981 standards, and detracted from the overall experience dramatically. The delivery of the the story is a complete disaster, relying on a Deus Ex Machina function multple times to resolve the completely unbelievable narrative. My advice would be to rent this defecatory piece of cinema only if you are in need of comic relief. |
