From out of the mysts of Avalon, this is the number movie of all time. It has everything, from lust to love, magicks and lore to chivalry and honour.
The soundtrack is fabulous. This is the first time, that I can remember, "Oh Fortuna" hit the big screen in such a big way. Years later, lots of other movies copied the theme, but "Oh Fortuna" will always be associated with this movie, along with Richard Wagner's Arthurian scores.
Beautiful scenery, good battle scenes and the characters are memorable. Superb acting and this is a keeper. |
