Truth is Truth.

Produced in 1985, I believe that the film fell under the popularity of the pop-culture sci-fi's new at the time; Battle Star Galactica,Star Wars and 'V'.
I saw this movie when I was about 8 years old, and even then I knew that the performances from Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossett, Jr. were not only truly unique, but also men, real Men portraying that which is rare in modern society; team-work.
This film taught me patience, the value of understanding and the need for the correct application of maturity.
I believe that Enemy Mine is a clearly under-rated story. They say that you shouldn't work with animals or children... the child actor whose name eludes me at this time that plays 'Zamis' delivers a performance that, in todays world full of "Acting Schools", new-age performance techniques and manufactured if not industrialised actors, I have yet to see a performance that can match this boys' - though Man now.
