I was young around five or six years old when my grandpa took me to see this movie. It was in color and I enjoyed it enough to beg to see it again.
The train wreck, the baby floating in the river and the kindly old man who found and raised him all scenes in my memory.
I have been looking for a copy of this movie for a long time. My opinion is that it should be recorded on a DVD and available to the public.
In the 1950's I was on a summer vacation to the west and we visited the redwood forest. I was reminded of the movie. The scene was breathtaking. I expected to see the old man and the young boy popping our from behind the redwood trees.
I am sure anyone that had seen this movie would enjoy seeing it again. |
