Pretty funny Dangerfield - stolen by Negron!!

Pretty good vehicle for Dangerfield. Better than his subsequent movies, like HEAD OF THE CLASS and LADYBUGS. This movie comes closest to Dangerfield's true character. Crass, lots of gross out humor, and a fun supporting cast including Joe Pesci (GOODFELLAS) and Jeffrey Jones (FERRIS BUELLER, DEADWOOD). But the movie is stolen by the young standup comedian Taylor Negron as Julio. Negron would go on to be in some other movies, but he should have had meatier roles after this.
BEST SCENE: "Do ju mind if I call ju Dad....?" |
