This was a great introduction film for the character of James Bond. The film established everything for all the others to follow. A great villian, very sexy women, and great action sequences. Also, this was really the introduction of Sean Connery's carrer, but most people really didn't know about him until Goldfinger. Connery is great as 007 in his first outing and in all of his other outings, but I still put Roger Moore ahead of him for being James Bond because of his lighter side and his British accent and on a side note Ian Fleming originally didn't like Connery because he didn't have a British accent. This film also has one of the most famous scenes ever and this is when Ursula Andress comes out of the water with her white bikini. This is a great moment and Connery and Andress act the scene perfectly. This film also has a great villian in Dr. No. I reccomend this movie for people who haven't seen a James Bond movie, or haven't watched them in a long time. This is definetly a great movie. |
