Dave Whiteman has gone Beverly Hills and isn't sure how he got there. His fussy, well-groomed wife has issues too, as do their young adult kids. The family is disfunctional until a homeless man comes in and puts their lives in focus. They despise him, yet they learn so much about who they have become and how unattractive it is. They are all searching for something, as clearly, the millions of dollars they have seems rather meaningless. Timeless; as we can still today see that "having it all" is a subjective term. A true delight! Very funny from start to finish. |
