This suspensful thriller has just about everything a good movie should have. Eastwood is great, and so is the supporting cast, but I would have loved to see him beat a confession out of a badguy. The film feels very old, and There are so many scenes at night where the whole screen is black, which is why Visuals gets a C. Other than the dated feel, this is a great movie. The lines "6 shots or only 5" and "Well do you feel lucky, Punk?" have been made fun of and mimiced so many times that its criminal. All cop movies since this owe a favor to this. This is a great movie. ***1/2 |
