Death Wish is without a doubt one of the greatist Action-Adventure movies of all time. If you ask me this movie is pretty effective it shows how bad crime can be and when the justice system fails vigilante justice prevails. anyway to the reveiw. Now the storyline may seem like your typical cheesy action flick story, but actually it was pretty origonal for it's time, and I'm pretty sure this movie is one of them that set the style for dark, realistic, and gritty action movies. Speaking of realistic the special effects where pretty good. I Don't think they depended on any excessive blood but more on how the people acted when they got shot. It seemed pretty realistic to me anyway. The acting was pretty well done also. Charles Bronsan did an excellant job of playing Paul Kersey the average guy turned vigilante, and the direction they took it in clearly left room for a sequal. Overall Death wish is an excellant thriller. |
