This was one of the best movies of its kind and still stands up today. The concept of a man taking the law into his own hands was never so shockingly portrayed as by Charles Bronson in this film. The brutal rape and murder of Paul Kersey's wife and daughter were very raw for the day. The story has been told many times, but never so well as this. |
