This is not your typical low budget science fiction movie of the 1950's, the movie also explored the political climate of the time. The cold war fears and attitude is apparent in the demand by each of the world leaders requiring the meeting to be in their country in order for them to participate. The movie is entertaining, a history lesson and morality play in one. The movie relies on script and acting not on special effects to hold the attention of the audience. Todays filmakers need to learn how to do this. |
