Well, what can I say? The second sequel took a wrong turn. I thought the first movie "Night of the Living Dead" was truly innovative. "Dawn of the Dead" was great, funny and entertaining. Using a mall as the backdrop was brilliant. But Day of the Dead had nothing going for it. The silo setting sucked and the overacting by everyone was painful to watch. I can't believe they couldn't come up with a better script than that. Oh well, maybe George Romero needs to hang it up and some new upstart can take the theme to newer heights. I still love the premise of the walking dead for a horror movie though. |
