A Good Film about Making a Bad Film

This story about the travails of a film crew trying to do their best with mediocre material is hilarious and yet also intimate and moving. Almost every thing that can go wrong does, and the film provides a lot of insights into how filmmakers deal with the difficulties that arise. But although the film they are making may be weak, the crew are a good family to each other, and their struggles with their own problems give the comedy its heart. Repeated viewings will review that this film is much more tightly constructed than may at first appear! |
