ahead of its time...

"Dawn of the Dead" is a horror movie ahead of its time. Not only are the visual affects far better than you would expect from a zombie movie filmed in the 70s, but the story itself is incredibly original and well done.
While fleeing the ever growing zombie race four people stop at a mall for supplies and end up forming their own kind of utopia within the confines of the mall. The story takes many turns, while showing much comradery between the characters. The film never bores you, or leaves a person feeling that its a far-fetched horror film (which it totally is) since you can relate to the characters and get drawn into the story. Regardless of your love for horror films this movie is a must see, and it will totally change your view on zombie films.
