It is the reason Zombies are so popular today. I can't think of too many bad things to say about this incredible picture.
Story is an A-
I think it is one of the most well conceived concepts ever, the time could have alot to do with it though. Who wouldn't want to be in a giant modern day mall with all the latest toy's?
Acting is a B-
It has it's flaws, but for the most part everyone is a man or woman of their own. You will know and care about each person in the movie. I like that about a movie.
Direction is an A
Romero nailed it on this one. Not too much more he could have added to this epic Zombie movie, except maybe a few alternate endings and such.
Visuals B+
It had a great erie spooky lonley feeling thru out the whole movie. The gore scenes were some of the best ever filmed and one sometimes wonders how the hell they did some of the things they did.
Overall A
A near flawless Horror movie in everyway. They didn't have anything too over the top in it, the actors played their part and did it well. Romero didn't go over board on social commentary B.S. and it all gels together well.
