Is it really ethical to call an angel the b-word?

I first saw this movie twenty years ago, mainly because ever since seeing "Splash" and becoming obsessed with mermaids, as well as other mythical creatures (how girlie of me). Because this movie is about an angel, I just had to see it. I loved it. I thought the actress playing the angel was so pretty and looked just like an angel. I actually thought at one point back then that she really was an angel. Seeing it years later, I still love it and I still love angels. However...first of all...did they really have to show the angel taking a bath in the nude? Also, Patty calling the angel a "slut" and a "b*tch"...isn't that sacreligious? And why would this angel not want to take the man she loves up with him? Therefore, she could still spend the rest of her life with him, no? Aside all that...I still love this movie and especially love to see an angel who enjoys french fries as much as I do! |
