Funny Danny
by James (movies profile)
Jun 30, 2005
The Court Jester was a hilarious picture. Having seen it a few days ago, it still is. The main comedy effect has to be, its star Danny Kaye. He is great. Better than Hans Christen Andersen.
What the movie is about is Danny is Hawkins, a servant to the rightious do-gooder: The Black Fox, a sort "Robin Hood"-type hero. He and fellow outlaws save an infant child. Hawkins soon tries to save the child from the evil king, but ends up wearing a jester's clothes, and preforming for him. Hilarity then ensues.
Overall, this is pretty funny. I suggest you see, because it's a good comedy. And remember: the pellet with the poison's in the vessel with the pessle. |
