We have all heard that one before. Unfortunately, like much of our modern lexican, few remember where the phrase comes from. Cool Hand Luke sets the standard for the genre. Intense, whitty, and full of a bevy of up amd comming stars, this picture is the quintissential born loser film. Lets not mention the prototypical car wash girl scene.
