MY FAVORITE COMEDY OF ALL TIMES..

Coming to America with Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall is absolutely my favorite comedy of all times. It's become a cult classic. I loved Eddie as Prince Hakeem, the spoiled Prince of Zamunda, looking for true love in...where else? the ghetto streets of Queens New York. I love McDowell's a ghetto version of McDonald's, and the scene's at the local talent show are some of the best black comedy in history. This film portrays black people are their most regal, as African royalty, complete with lion's head mantles (What is this velvet? This is beautiful!)and elephants as modes of transportation, and at our lowest and greasiest, such as Lisa's boyfriend, Darryl, the greasy Prince of SoulGlo Gheri Curl's...This film is really hilarious, and has great classic one liners. When I was in college, we watched this film every single day and cracked up! I memorized all of the lines in no time flat.. I only wish Eddie would get back to his comedy roots such as displayed in this film and stop pretending to be who-ever it is that he thinks he is now... I loved him in this, also, I would recommend the Best of Saturday Night Live, starring Eddie Murphy and Raw. All three of these films showcase Eddie at his finest..Sexual Chocolate!
