I still laugh out loud while watching this movie just like I did more than 15 years ago. Not only was this movie funny, the many characters played by Eddie and Arsenio and the special make up is amazing even by today's standards.
Sure, these days Eddie Murphy's movies stink except the annoying Donkey in Mike Myer's movie and Arsenio's career is in exile. but Coming to America was made in their prime. This movie definitely belongs in your DVD collections if you like comedies. |
