Good Story Worth Buying

I had to buy this DVD because it's one movie that I've remembered all my life seeing back in 1978. It really stuck with me, even though I was only 14 or so. I finally saw it again last night. It's a very good story, but the nonsense Richard Widmark gives for his reasons for doing the illegal activities doesn't make sense, as it's obvious that they were done for profitable reasons. Ms. Bujold was a beauty to see nude in her films such as this one and in "Swashbuckler". Overall, this movie may stick with you for a while, too. Notice the unknown actor at the time, Tom Selleck, who plays one of the victims. |
