At a big city hospital a surgeon (Genevieve Bujold) suspects that something is going wrong when a huge numbers of patients lapsed into a coma after being operated.
After making some inquieries she found a link: all of them were taken later to the Jefferson Institute. But neither her boyfriend (Michael Douglas),nor the Hospital Director (veteran Richard Widmark), believed in any sort of conspiration.
Exciting medical thriller based on a Robin Cook novel.
