Whoopi Goldberg is usually a comedic brilliance but here she is a dramatic revolution. A victimized woman forced to marry a brutal and un-loving man who rapes and abuses her for almost 30 years until one day she can't take it no more.
BEST PERFORMANCE: Oprah Winfrey steals the show to me, but Margret Avery is a joy, as is Danny Glover (very sexy oooo) and Goldberg of course.
