This film was good, so we bought it. Newman is classic and Tom Cruise is good. This film gives a peek at world most of us have never ventured into, the world of the pool hall hustler. It's always interesting to have our movie makers give us a look at a slice of life we normally never see or even think about, but which is very real to those who live it just the same. All involved did a great job of making this a believable portrayal of the tough sharklike world a pool hustler lives in. |
