It's naive not to attempt to link this movie to our current time. Our president seemed to be Leonidas who with the coalition of the six pack ab straight, handsome and willing defends freedom against disgusting barbarians, Ahmadinejad who is not the best looking guy around the block has a God most of us didn't hear about -well at least not until very recently. The traitor(s) in the council could be Congressman Murtha and his left-winger democrats although not necessarily enjoying the same sexual appetite. But let’s ask some questions here: -
1) Are the Persian war ships in the Gulf of Mexico or are the American war ships in the Persian Gulf?
2) With 24/7 surveillance cameras, lab tests and unlimited site access did the IAEA find a shred of evidence that Persians are developing a Nuclear weapon? On the other hand what country has the largest stockpile of nuclear weapons? Globally and in the Middle East? Hint they both start with vowels and somehow always defend themselves by invading and occupying someone else’s country.
3) Would you rather have an orgy in Persia or America?
4) Who has a beard Gorge W. Bush or Ahmadinejad?
Please don’t misunderstand me thinking I am implying the opposite. I am not, I respect our President although I disagree with the war. The point is please don’t confuse yourself by linking the movie to our time. It can’t be further from the truth. It’s just a fantasy movie. Let’s leave it there. |
