I thought that this was one of Ron Howard's best films (besides, A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13 and Backdraft). I also thought that Jessica Tandy was exellent in this movie. Another thing that I loved was the talent of Gwen Verdon and Don Ameche (who won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor of 1985). I thought it was very sad when Jack Gilford's wife, Rose, died from Alzheimer's disease. I thought the best part was the ending when the seniors go up into Outer Space. I give this film two thumbs up. |
