I recently saw Cocktail (recently = Nov 2004) again, first time since its release in 1988. It was aweful. Tom Cruise hadn't learned to act yet when this follow-up to Top Gun was made. He just hams up to the camera, and swaggers to and fro. This film is definitely for die-hard Cruise fans only.
I can't believe I thought all that bottle-tossing was cool, "back in the day." |
