Suprisingly, not too many people know of this film. I, for one, was one of those people. I saw the film on a sale DVD rack, and decided to purchaase it. And to my suprise, it was an exceptional film!

Michael Keaton gave an astouding performace as Daryl Poynter, a recovering drug addict. I personally feel it was the best performace of his acting career.

Its a pretty simple story. Keaton's character, Daryl, has stolen money from his job in order to pay for his drug habit, and on top of it all a girl OD's in his bed. So, in order to escape his escalating problems, Daryl hides himself in a Drug Rehabilitaion clinic. While there he meets Morgan Freeman, who plays his leader. A well played role by Freeman. He also meets Kathy Baker who plays the love interest. So the movie continues on, and Daryl gets out. And while out, he tries to woo Baker, who has a degenerate boyfriend, and he also tries to get his life back on track.

The high point of the movie is Keaton's performance. Within the first few minutes of the movie, you see him snort some coke, and he is really believable as a drug addict!!! I highly suggest the film to anyone who is a Michael Keaton fan or loves a good movie!
